The Colours as we see them

Dogs come in such a huge variety of colours. These colours are often described 'as they are seen' by many owners and admirers. The point of the following explanations include correct terminology which does, indeed, have a huge impact on the actualy genetic sequebnce. This is something as simple as defining a 'red' dog from a 'yellow' dog. Perhaps considered the same to look at, they are both genetically very different and both forms are expressed on different alleles. Hopefully this will provide an insight to the wonderful world of dog colours, as well as understanding the predictability of the offspring.
